Deepwells final painting day this Saturday, Nov 7th

Attention Scouts:
This will be one of your last opportunities to earn service time toward your rank advancement before Jan 1st. You can help out this Saturday Nov 7th from 7-10am while we paint the fence at the back of the property.
This a great opportunity for Tenderfoot Scouts seeking Second Class Rank.
Updates on Parents Night, Eagle Projects, Deepwells

Odds and ends from tonight’s meeting:
- Everyone who has not done so already must email Mrs. Donahue at kbspouse@aol.com regarding the parents dessert night next Thursday, to tell her (1) how many from your family will be going and (2) what dessert you will be bringing, if any.
- Travis will be working on his Eagle Project Saturday, from 9am to 5pm, rain or shine. Wear old clothes, and bring gloves and shovels.
- We will be working on the Deepwells Project Sunday, from 7am to 10am. Wear old clothes, and bring a paintbrush.
Columbus Day Weekend

This Saturday September 10th Travis Ochs will be working on his Eagle project from 2 to 5 pm, at Burke Veterans Memorial Park on Lake Ave. across the street from King Kullen in St. James. Please bring work gloves.
Also we will be wrapping up the Deepwells project this weekend on Monday October 12th. Please bring a paintbrush and old clothes. Work will go from 10 to 4 at Deepwells Historical grounds in St. James. Any assistance is warmly welcomed.

Deepwells Update!

The Deepwells project will be postponed today Sunday September 6th and will continue next Saturday September 12th from 9 to 4. Next week we will finally start the staining of the fence. Scouts are kindly asked to bring a paint bush, and or a hedge cutter, to remove foliage from the fence.
Deepwells Update

This weekend September 5th, 6th we will be continuing the Deepwells project from 10 to 4. We will be clearing brush from the Northern fence and painting the Western fence. Scouts are kindly asked to wear old clothes and bring, a paint brush, and or trimming shears with work gloves.
Remember we have to have more scout in attendance than Troop 7. Two weeks ago we beat them by 26 scouts!
Update on Deepwells Project

The Deepwells project (see post below) will be starting on the Saturday of August 22, with additional work days on Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th.
As before, the days will run from 8am to 4pm. All scouts attending will be asked to bring old clothes and a paint brush.
Troop 7 and Troop 301 Deepwells Project

Troop 301 and Troop 7 will be teaming up this summer to help repair and paint the fence line along the northern and western borders of Deepwells (by the St. James General store). The project will be held on Saturday August 22 and then again on Saturday August 29th and Sunday August 30th. The days will run from 8am to 4pm. All scouts attending will be asked to bring old clothes and a paint brush.
P.S.- We have to have more scouts attend than Troop 7!
