Marines program

The troop, as mentioned before, is supporting two Marines this holiday season who were injured in the line of duty. A list of items suggested to buy to send to them is below. Adopt a Family program

The Holiday season is quickly approaching and in our quest to do good deeds I have arranged for Troop 301 to adopt one local family, two Marines and collect unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program. The local family may be one of our neighbors that has fallen on hard times and needs assistance this year. The Marines were given to us by the Adopt a Hero Program. Toys for Tots is an ongoing toy drive sponsored by the Marines. I am asking that you help out in any way that you can. The list below consists of requested items that would make a lovely gift box. The Hero program needs to be mailed out by Thanksgiving so I will need your donations ASAP. The Toys for Tots are unwrapped gifts that Harry will collect at the troop meetings on Thursdays and place in the box that we have. The deadline for the local family’s gifts is December 16th. American Heart Association Dog Walk October 25

The American Heart Association is having a fund raising Dog Walk on October 28 Sunday, October 25 from 8am to 1pm at the SUNY Stony Brook Campus. If anyone would like more information about supporting this good cause please speak to Ms Pedone. More information is available at
