Events from October 2011
St. James Day – October 2nd 2011
Each year Troop 301sells baked goods as a funraiser.
….and when they were done with their shift……Out came the electronics 
Family Night – October 6th 2011
This was a troop meeting where the scouts tell the parents what events we did since the Pasta diner and we gave out advancement awards
It started with Mr. DeMarco explaining what the program would be for the coming months.
Mr. Takach gave a pitch on why it makes sense to sell popcorn as a troop fundraiser as well as to benefit the boys.
Boys then took turns remembering the events from the past months.

….becuase next came DESERT!

October 15th – The ground finally dried enough for lay the sod at the 9/11 memorial and some of the scouts helped there as well.
October 22nd – 23rd Campout at Indian Island – Wilderness Survival shelters
October 27th – Holloween!
