April 27th, 28th & 29th SPRING CAMPOREE at BHSC

All,

We are assigned to ADIRONDACK campsite and Josh G. is acting SPL.

It is way down to the left side of camp beyond the archery range.

THIS IS A CAMPOREE SO BE PREPARED TO WEAR YOUR CLASS A UNIFORM THE ENTIRE TIME!

Camporee Schedule


FridayEvening:

  • 6:00 – Check in
  • 8:00 – SM & SPL Cracker barrel

Saturday:

  • 8:30 – Opening Ceremony
  • 8:45 – Scouts Own
  • 9:30 – Patrol stations open
  • 12:00-1:00 – Lunch
  • 1:00-4:00 – Patrol Stations
  • 4:00-5:00 – SM challenge
  • 5:00-7:00 – Dinner
  • 7:00 – Mass
  • 8:00 – SM & SPL Cracker barrel

Sunday morning:

  • 9:00 – Closing 

Spring Event Information

Troops and packs can camp together – just note your preferences on your registration forms

Troops will park their cars across the street until after the day event is over – 5pm on Sat the cars can be moved into the parking lot. Webelos camping over will do the same.

BT mugs will be available for sale – 5.00

Lunch will be able to be purchased at the dining hall

Lunch is available to all scouters – both Camporee and cubs for cubs participants

For cubs for cubs – siblings and families are invited – only the registered cub and leaders pay the participant fee

Pine wood derby participants are also required to register

Cubs for Cubs

  • Medieval Times booths
  • Jump house
  • Jousting activities
  • Tiger parade

For All – Medieval Times reenactment group will be camping and having displays

For Troops

Campsite inspection – theme “Model Campsite” with camp gadgets, tripod for cooking, etc.
