Troop 301,
We will have Mr. Martins of Troop 888 and the Seatalcot Chapter of the Shinnecock Lodge 360 Order of the Arrow at our regular meeting by 8:00 pm.
We will be electing this years scouts that troop 301 will be giving the chance to participate in an ORDEAL/INDUCTION weekend and become a member of the Order of the Arrow.

Current members of the order SHOULD WEAR THEIR WHITE SASHES as you are representing the Arrowmen at the meeting.
Those elected this year (2012) were:

All of the above are the required FIRST CLASS scouts and have camped a minimum of 15 days and nights in tents (including only one consecutive 6 day summer camp) in the last 2 years.
This has qualified them to stand for the election. The troop must now elect them (or not) based on:
Do you feel this scout is responsible AND skilled enough to send into the wilderness with a TENDERFOOT scout and both will be safe? (The intent and not the exact requirement)
At least 50% of the troop must vote positively on each candidate and every scout in the troop votes yes or no for every candidate.
