The Holiday season is quickly approaching and in our quest to do good deeds I have arranged for Troop 301 to adopt one local family, two Marines and collect unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program. The local family may be one of our neighbors that has fallen on hard times and needs assistance this year. The Marines were given to us by the Adopt a Hero Program. Toys for Tots is an ongoing toy drive sponsored by the Marines. I am asking that you help out in any way that you can. The list below consists of requested items that would make a lovely gift box. The Hero program needs to be mailed out by Thanksgiving so I will need your donations ASAP. The Toys for Tots are unwrapped gifts that Harry will collect at the troop meetings on Thursdays and place in the box that we have. The deadline for the local family’s gifts is December 16th. I suggest that several boys chip in and buy a gift together. I would be more than happy to wrap any/all of the gifts for the family. If you have any questions call me at 686- 6110 or write to me kbspouse@aol.com
Thank you for your support and generosity.
