West Point trip

Fundraising Meeting

There will be a meeting at the VFW Hall on Lake Avenue on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 7:30pm to discuss fundraising. All parents and scouts are invited to attend.
Leaders Meeting

There will be a meeting of uniformed adult leaders on Friday, June 19th, at Mr. Trutner’s house, 5 Inwood Road, St. James. For details call him at 631 584 5862.
Baiting Hollow Parent Meeting

There will be a meeting for scouts who are going to Baiting Hollow and their parents at Mr. McClafferty’s house (40 Shenandoah Blvd, Nesconset) on Saturday June 20th at 12 pm.
Troop 7 and Troop 301 Deepwells Project

Troop 301 and Troop 7 will be teaming up this summer to help repair and paint the fence line along the northern and western borders of Deepwells (by the St. James General store). The project will be held on Saturday August 22 and then again on Saturday August 29th and Sunday August 30th. The days will run from 8am to 4pm. All scouts attending will be asked to bring old clothes and a paint brush.
P.S.- We have to have more scouts attend than Troop 7!
Summer Camp Update

Health forms for Baiting Hollow, which much be filled out by the scout’s physician before camp, are now available for download (PDF), also accessible from the Forms page above. More information about Baiting Hollow.
The troop will be going to Camp Minsi in Pennsylvania for the dates of August 6th to the 9th. Permission slips are due at the picnic on Wednesday.
Upcoming Eagle Projects (early summer)

Next Troop Meeting June 4th

The Next Troop meeting of June 4th will be held at Mills Pond Elementary school at our usual time. Any questions or concerns please contact Tom McClafferty.
A reminder to all patrol leaders to call your scouts and inform them of this change.
