The TLC will be on March 31, 2009 at the church. The meeting will start early at 7:00pm since elections will be discussed.
Baiting Hollow Scout Camp

Register now for Baiting Hollow Scout Camp! The troop goes to Baiting Hollow every year and it is a great experience, especially for new scouts.
This year we will be going from July 12 to July 18.
If you pay before April 16, your scout price is $250 (additional scout in the same family: $225). If you pay after April 16, your scout price is $285 (additional scout in the same family: $260).
Please write out your check to “Troop 301″ and include the scout’s name in the memo. Give the check to Jim Gray (584-7476); you can also contact him if you have any questions.

Next TLC meeting

The next TLC meeting was planned for April 7, 2009 but that is during Spring break so the new meeting date will be on tuesday March 31, 2009. During this meeting, the next elections will be discussed. Any boy wishing to run for a troop position should be present during this meeting and give a small speech on why they are running for the position.
Upcoming Trip (West Hills)

On March 27, 2009 at 4:00pm we will be meeting in the church parking lot and then travel together to West Hills campground. The activity fee is $5 which is being collected by young Kenny Anello. The cooking theme is box oven cooking and all patrols should have appropriate menus ready. For new parents we will be returning to the church Sunday morning where scouts can be picked up.
Soup Kitchen Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for Wednesday’s (3/18) soup dinner at the church.
The soup dinner starts at 4:45 and ends at 6:30. (updated)
There will be 75 people in attendance.
Scouts who are interested should email Mrs. Donahue.
Website Fully Up

As announced at the meeting yesterday, t301.org 4.0 is now up and fully operational. You can download forms, email the leaders, learn a bit about the troop (for visitors to this site)…the list goes on, and more features will be coming online in the next few weeks.
Please note that the calendar is password-protected. The password is the same as the one on the calendar on the old site (Mr. Stilletti’s nickname). Please ask an older scout or the parent of an older scout if you do not know it; it will also be announced at the meeting next week.
